New York Medical College is a graduate health sciences university whose purpose is to educate physicians, scientists, public health specialists, and other healthcare professionals, and to conduct biomedical and population-based research. Through its faculty and affiliated clinical partners, the College provides service to its community in an atmosphere of excellence, scholarship, and professionalism. The NYMC School of Medicine interview day program has two goals. The first is to provide applicants an opportunity to gain first-hand information about the school and the NYMC community. The second is to allow representatives of the admissions committee to learn more about and interact with candidates through the multiple mini- interview process (MMI).
